This is a cheap china product. They just buy the same camera like "action pro" does (www.actionpro.de). It all comes from a chinese factory, which just copies GoPro (only the design) and everybody can order this camera and put his logo on it. There are only 2 real action cam companies: GoPro and Contour. And I am pretty sure, that in future Contour will overcome GoPro. Contour has the better product quality and puts more efforts into R&D at the moment. Also they look way better - GoPro has no Design at all - it is a good camera but looks like sh..

I heard rumors, that security tried to stop him, and that was the problem. The pool is so close to the balcony, even if he would have been drunk like hell he should not have missed it. There are people who said, that a security guy tried to grap him or even grap him in the air and made him hit the concrete. But I don't have any proof for this, nor did I see it. But there are many people saying this, who were around. Would be good to know, and if tru they should put this fucking security guy to jail for the rest of his life for killing Dane. Do you really think that Boxxers or 40's would not have snapped or break at the crashes the 888's broke at Rampage?? If you really think so, you have no clue about mountain biking and physics at all. When you test 40's, Boxxers and 888 in terms how much energy would be needed to break them - the 888 would be the one which could take up the most energy before breaking. So by your comment about breaking at rampage, you should have watch the crashes before and make your mind up if the breaking was just a matter of fact and not of the fork - smartass

You ever realized, that Contour is the sponsor of Cam McCaul and Cam Zink - so why do you think they should stick GoPros on them??? - would be stupid of them risking a good sponsor. On the other hand - I like the contours over the GoPros for mountain bike (for surf and diving GoPros might be better) But if you wanna look like a Tele Tubby while Riding - go for it. I like to laugh about the Tele Tubbys on Bikes whenever I see them in the Bike Parks.

It is not how the music is made, or how much skill it takes brett236 - it is about the attitude and the feeling transported with music. And for MTB, as well as for any other action or extreme sport it can only be Rock music. I hate it when people playing electronic music at contests or in riding videos. This kind of music is made for parties and clubs (so it can be fun as well) - I never heard anybody saying "Skate Techno" or "Surf - House Music" - but I heard "Skate Punk", "Surf Rock" etc. a thousand times - and I think this is for a good reason. So my appeal: Bring back Rock n Roll music to the Freeride or Freestyle Sports - stop raping it with electronic music. This means no I hate electronic music at all - but I think it is not the music for our sport - and electronic music never changed the world or started revolutions - Rock did - and free sports are a revolution and a movement.

I think the FMB World Tour guys will again make one of those official Contour Course walks. Whenever they make it, it is pretty cool. Liked Cam McCaul doing it at the 26Trix in Leogang. Sadly the didn't do any at the Claymore Challenge. So keep looking here or on youtube for the course walks. I can say, that Marzocchi is back. After 2 years, in wich they destroyed their whole reputation they have started building good products from 2010 on. I just thrown away my Rock Shox Totem Solo Air, after I was testing a 66 Ti - so much better and not even 100 Gramms heavier. Funny thing is, that I was given the 66 for testing from a dealer who normaly was just selling Rock Shox for a long time when I was there because I had very strange issues with my Totem. He looked at the fork with me, we tried everything to get it solved an then he said: test the new 66, even if I am not a fan of Marzocchi - but I have to admit they are back in the game. Can't say anything about the new 888, but I hear many people in the bike parks that they prefere the new 888 before any other DH fork. So I think we all should give Marzocchi a chance again, after their quality seems to have changed after those bad years in 2008 and 2009. Just my opinion.

The Tour starts this weekend in Vienna and the finals will be streamed live here on pinkbike. 2:15pm CET, so must be very early in the morning in the states and canada. Gonna be there live - haha

Have been there, watching it live. You can't even assume how big the drop and the last double were, if you have not been there. The video makes it look so small and normal - but believe me: No money in the world would have made me going down this one. Respect to everyone who competed there. Most respect goes to Graham Agassiz from my side. He hurt his heel during practice and came back for the contest and showed, that pain can't stop him - crazy canadian!!! VOD for sure!
